The Office of the Bishop is to guard the faith and the unity of the people.

Your predecessors have labored and we share the glory, ours is to do exploit and add to their gains.

God has called you to lead the Diocese from grace to grace, from strength to strength and from glory to glory. To carry the mantle of Bishop is not easy,it demands all our energies, time, resources, comfort and  full commitment. The power you will receive in this ceremony is to lead God's people, guard the faith of the church. The power we receive during ordination gives us the might to do the will of God.

Challenges are bound to come and when it gets there, look up unto God and no weapon functioning against you shall  prosper. We have all it takes to lead the people. To be a Bishop, you must give what you have just as God asked Moses what he had in his hand. The Lord who has called you will never leave or abandon you.

The Ceremony was graced by dignitaries from and beyond the province of West Africa.
