Rev. Canon. Dr. Paul Appiah Sekyere elected as Bishop of Dunkwa Diocese



Rev'd Canon Dr. Appiah Sekyere has been elected as the Bishop of the Diocese of Dunkwa-on-Offin. This is prior to the recent retirement of the RT. Rev. Edmund Dawson Amoah,former Bishop of the said Diocese..


The Bishop-elect is  the Priest in Charge of Rev’d Thomas Thompson Anglican Church, Ola, Cape Coast and a senior lecturer at the University of Cape Coast.
He has about six publications'.......


The Diocese of Dunkwa-on-Offin is one of the youngest diocese in the province of Ghana..it was formed from the Diocese of  Cape Coast.

The jurisdiction of the Diocese covers the Northern part of the Central region of  Ghana ( the Upper East and Western Denkyira)
Their vision is to serve the community through Evangelism, Educational and Economic programs
